Description

A watercolor palette with a luminous dimension

PHOENIX Iridescent Watercolor brings together 12 light-catching colors in a portable metal tin. The pearlescent effect responds to the angle of light, adding another visual dimension to painted details and larger areas of color.

Explore contrasting surfaces

Try the palette on light and dark watercolor paper to discover different expressions of color and shimmer. The finished appearance depends on the paper, lighting and paint application, so test a swatch on your chosen surface before starting a piece.

Build the finish your painting needs

Use the amount of pigment and the thickness of your layers to adjust the intensity of the iridescent effect. Explore delicate accents or a more pronounced luminous finish, and adapt your application to the subject.

Arrange your own working palette

The 12 half-pans are removable, so you can rearrange the colors to suit your painting routine. The compact metal tin keeps the set together, and its lid provides a convenient space for mixing.
