The HX-3SA pairs a French box easel with separate studio oil, acrylic, watercolor and gouache paint sets. Each contains 24 tubes of 12ml paint: 96 tubes in total, not 96 unique colors in a single formula.

Painting surfaces for different projects

The set includes two 16 × 20 in stretched canvases, two 11 × 14 in canvas panels and two 10 × 10 in panels. The English package label also lists two watercolor boards and fifteen watercolor postcards. Choose a surface suited to the medium.

Tools for practice and exploration

The English package label lists seven oil brushes, seven acrylic brushes, seven watercolor brushes and two detail brushes, plus two painting knives, a paper palette, a mixing palette, pencils, erasers and a brush-washing container. The current packing list also includes oil-painting medium; keep oil materials separate from water-based media and follow each label.

A flexible painting workspace
