The HX-3SB 50-piece set includes twelve 40ml artist oil-paint tubes, totaling 480ml, together with six oil sticks. Explore brushwork, direct drawing-like marks and painting-knife applications as different techniques.

Canvases and panels

The set includes two 16 × 20 in stretched canvases, two 11 × 14 in canvas panels, two 10 × 10 in panels and a 10-sheet oil canvas pad.

Brushes and supporting tools

Ten hog-bristle brushes and three detail brushes are shown, alongside two separate painting knives and the small knife packed with the oil-stick set. A paper palette pad, pencils, erasers, a double oil cup and a brush-washing container support the painting workflow.

Use each oil-painting accessory for its intended purpose

The latest bottle labels identify 75ml oil medium, 75ml gloss varnish and 250ml thinner. These are different products with different uses. Follow their labels and work with appropriate ventilation; do not use varnish as a substitute for painting medium.

A French easel for your workspace
