24 Colors · 24 × 40ml. Build a palette around the work you want to make. PHOENIX Artist Oil Colours combine rich colour and a creamy, blendable consistency in a linseed-oil-based formulation. Work from expressive brush marks to carefully mixed transitions. This 24-color selection gives you 24 individual 40ml tubes to explore portraits, landscapes and colour studies.
From first mixture to finishing marks. Mix a considered colour on your palette, soften a transition with a brush, or leave the gesture of a palette knife visible in the paint. Explore the supplied artist films for different approaches to composition, colour and mark-making, then make the process your own.
Choose your palette. SKU PO2440A contains 24 tubes, 40ml each: 960ml total. Four 12-colour selections and a broader 24-colour set are available in this family. Choose the labelled palette that suits your project and check the selected product images for its colours. Brushes, surfaces and other supplies shown in creator demonstrations are not included.
Made without cadmium pigments. PHOENIX confirms that all five Artist 40ml sets are formulated without intentionally added cadmium pigments. The published range chart identifies alternative pigments in its cadmium-hue colours, such as PY74 in 211 Cadmium Yellow Pale Hue. This formulation choice is not a zero-trace-cadmium test result; see Materials for the available testing and ingredient information.
Lightfast colour for lasting artwork. The Artist range chart gives colour-specific manufacturer lightfastness ratings to guide your palette. Use the individual ratings to guide your palette and help protect finished paintings from prolonged direct sunlight. The chart is a range reference, not a packing list: some shades in the selected sets are not listed. Materials explains the coverage, and the Artist Oil Colour Chart is available in Downloads.
Make room for your process. Work on a properly prepared surface suitable for oil painting. Colour, paint thickness, medium and studio conditions affect drying. Follow the labels for your paints, mediums and cleaning materials.
