No. These are traditional oil colours, not water-mixable paints. Do not use water as a thinner. Follow the MSDS and the instructions for your chosen oil-painting medium and cleaning product.

Use artist-ready primed canvas or another surface properly prepared for oil painting. Bare wood, ordinary paper and unprepared surfaces should not be treated as universally ready to use.

The colours can be mixed to create new shades. Use a medium intended for oil painting according to its instructions, and test the result before using it across your painting.

Drying varies with colour, paint thickness, medium and working conditions. There is no single drying time for every painting. Do not use a fixed number of days as a guarantee or a varnishing schedule.
